After launching Currensea in 2020 we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received for our world-first open banking debit card. By working with your existing bank account, Currensea allows you to pay in every currency but without the fees, the inconvenient hassle of topping up a prepaid card, and no need to manage multiple accounts.

Highly Commended – Best Cards Initiative (Highly Commended)
The Paytech Awards are hosted every year by FinTech Futures, recognising innovations in the payments industry. This was the first of many digitally hosted awards ceremonies that allow nominees to celebrate from the comfort of their office.
Currensea named #3
Recognising disruptive innovation in the FinTech industry, BusinessCloud compiled a list of 100 FinTechs from a long-list of 250. After our January launch, this was our first ranking, to enter at number 3 ahead of unicorns such as Monzo and Revolut was an honour and a clear indicator of the change Currensea brings to the FinTech market.

Currensea was named winner of the Open Banking Initiative of the Year awards alongside our partners at Global Processing Services.
